Filipe Mendes is a multidisciplinary designer and 3D visual artist based in Portugal, with a Design background and nearly a decade of professional experience across mechanical design, product development, and digital media. His work operates at the intersection of art, science, and technology - combining spatial design, computational systems, and immersive storytelling.

Mendes has collaborated with institutions and collectives across Portugal, Belgium, the UK, and Italy, contributing to research-driven exhibitions and experimental installations. His projects often explore human-machine interaction, emotional perception, and speculative environments through the use of AI, biosignals, body tracking, and virtual reality.

Skilled in 3D/CAD modeling, rendering, and prototyping, as well as real-time environments and interaction design, his practice is both technically grounded and conceptually rich. He works fluidly between physical and digital spaces - building immersive platforms, performative environments, and generative visual systems that reflect on identity, perception, and the future of human experience.
